    Re: Soccer

    Hi Trish,

I don't mind answering at all. I use a Canon 30D with a grip, Canon 70-200 2.8L, Canon 24-70 2.8L, Canon 1.4 teleconverter and Canon 550 EX flash. I shoot indoor and under the lights photography in RAW and generally one stop darker so I can get a faster shutter speed. I then use Digital Photo Professional to bring the image back up the one stop I had set in my camera. For day shooting I generally shoot at the fine jpeg setting without any exposure compensation.

I do 99% of my shooting in aperture priority as so much is shot indoors and under the lights that I need to shoot at 2.8 most of the time, unless I get the opportunity to use a flash, which I generally don't do. Although the IHSA allows for the use of flash at athletic events I'm very careful about it as I don't want to fire it off in someone's eyes and blow the play. Coaches and schools have a tendency to get upset if you do that.

That's pretty much it. Feel free to drop me an e-mail at andersoncaa@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions. Thanks,

    Chris
