    Slideshows

One of the goals of all the football I shoot is at the end of the year I compose slideshows of the highlights of the year.

One slideshow is sportrait and the other is action. This year I also did a special project with the Senior boys. It was the gift of tangible gratitude to the head coach. I did a special photo shoot of he boys and they each composed a few lines about their gratitude towards coach.

It was pretty darn moving when it was played during the banquet. The Coach cried as did the majority of the audience. Coach wrote me an email the next day to tell me it was the best gift he ever received.

Anyway, just post here if you'd like to see them. I'll pm you the links. They have my full name on them so I don't like having that info on the WWW.

    Re: Slideshows

I'll pm you guys right now.

If you don't mind I'm just going to copy the pm I've already sent a few others.

You'll have to download a small plug-in to view them. Sometimes you need to reboot after the installation. It also takes time for the shows to load up online and it can depend on how busy the site is, your Internet connection and computer speed. Be patient and let me know what you think!

    Re: Slideshows

    Livin and Homer,

I just sent you a PM. Just keep in mind some of the photos aren't mine (a friend shot for me after I broke my leg) and there are some in there that are not too great. I try and get as many kids in my shows and sometimes it's a photo you might look at and wonder WHY? That's why. I try to include as many as possible.

    Nice job again JETA
As you said some I wouldn't use but you want to get as many kids in as possible, and many you don't get too many chances to get a lot of shots of. One of those "something is better than nothing" deals. Overall well done!

    Thanks JS.

Yep, it's more about getting everyone in. The parents don't look at the pics with the same eye we do.

Also I have to put all of the games in there. I didn't shoot the last three games. While my friend tried hard he majorly screwed up by accidentally over exposing, closing up the aperture and then changed the metering mode. Over all he did well for never shooting with a rig like mine b4, but if the camera was set right the pics would have been so much better.

I've done both a soccer and basketball slideshow video for my daughter. It's so much fun. I'd love to see your video!
