This is a really great shot. It has a sureal feeling to it. Is there any special treatment or lighting? What lens did you use?

    Congrats on feature pic!

The light was one reason I picked it.
You can see on the t-shirt the shadow of the left arm, and it also looks like a rim light lighting the right arm.
Combine that lighting with the diffuse daylight from the left and it's quite striking.

    Then there's the composition.
The leading line of the four walls leading to the door in the top right corner.
The arches in the background contrasting against the walls and door straight lines.

It's much more than just a skateboard trick.

Thanks for the tech details! I saw you had commented again and I was just going to ask for some more info on how you shot it. But the answer to my question was already here

Why are you using the Profoto radio slaves instead of PocketWizards? I've been hearing a lot of complaints about PocketWizards lately. Did you have a problem with them or are you using the Profot units for a different reason? I don't think the Profoto slaves are listed in our flash accessory reviews. If I add them will you write a review? We can definitely use more radio slave reviews.

    Re: skateboarding in munich

if you would add them, I will write a review, jep! but it will take some time cause I will be in sardegna soon.

Pocketwizards are very nice, never had a problem with those. The new PW´s sound very interesting but from those I heard a lot of complains, too.

I´ve choosen the Profoto because they are a little bit cheaper, but use nearly the same technique. Also when I am on a big contest were most people use PW, my frequenz will be free because there are not a lot people using the profotos. The range is 300meters (1000feet) and in speed mode it can trigger up too (!) 100 frames a second. This may be interesting for filmers but not for me haha^^

I think the PW´s are still the best but the new ones have been released to eraly, soo they have some techniqual problems.
