Sea Otter DH pics from Sunday

3 and 5 are killer. The other DRD shot is good as well!

Yeah, 3 & 5 are great - but I really like 4 too.
1 would have looked better with a bit more power on the fill flash, I think.

I agree that 3 and 5 are nice, although I think they look a little dark. Looks like they need a bit more flash and/or a little post-processing to open up the shadows more. I actually like the ones with spectators the most. Context is always important to me. I know some photographers would prefer there were no people in the background. But for me, that's just part of racing and I like to include the people if I can. I like the *spectacle* of racing

Good to see someone else showing off some Sea Otter photos. I was at Sea Otter too but they had me shooting mostly people and products in the infield area. I did get to shoot the dual slalom finals but I haven't touched those photos yet. I'll try to get that done in the next couple of days and post some here.
