well, you saw the one I did for her brother, and her mom and I are coupling up to make her a nice framed collection of photos, so we did some portraits today and some multiple exposure shots. just some rough edits. I'll edit some more when her mom decides which ones she wants. as much as I hate the bright sun, the sky certainly does look nice with it! as long as you use some fill flash! these were taken w/ the 1d, 70-200 f/2.8, and 430ex for fill. the portraits were at f/2.8, and action shot was at f/8

Nice stuff once again. It's an improvement over the first group with the guy if for no other reason you improved your background. Really like you portraits but the multi is top flight. She is going to love them.

yeah I was examining the two and deciding what made this sequence better. I think I actually missed the focus on the first set. I believe i was backfocused. this set is more on, and i also remembered my tripod this time. last time i was shooting with the monopod, so it was harder to piece them together.

The posses are good, but the shadows across her face are distracting. Using Fill Flash or a reflector to get more light on the face would improve these images a lot.

i used fill. see that reflection in her eye? I need to construct a reflector. maybe I'll go do that right now... But yeah, I hate the shadows on #2, and kind of hate the angle. I really do love the bg though!

I didn't notice the reflection in her eyes in any of the shots, but I wasn't looking too closely. The shadows on the third one play havoc with the skin tones.

surprised no one caught the cloning in the first one. it wasn't a great job by me.
