    Rizla Racing Days 2010

Rizla racing day is a free combined auto and motorsports event which is held in august every year.
This year I got my credential for this event and besides the bikes which I photograph on multiple occassions I tried to combine the cars and the bikes.

    Amazing series as usual !

#2 is incredible, the front tire is a bit off the ground while the back tire is pressed so hard that it is a bit flat pressed to the tarmac, I suppose it is accelerating.. Hard!

    You're right.
The rider is coming from a tight right-left chicane is shifting through the gears to start/finish to do an other lap ( race image )
When using safe shutterspeeds ( 1/320th etc,etc ) you could manage to get a lot good pictures, but on the other side there are also photographers and that is want I don't like to catch though.
With long shutterspeeds it's pretty hard to get these kind of images but I like the background blur. The wiggling bike when they go to full accelaration and the rider who's going to do everything to get the front back to the ground make it just a good and technical picture.

i like #2 a lot ! #3 i never seen anyone that low hope he made it without laying it down!
if you had a wider shot in 3 with a little bit more of the track you could tell what he was doing better.

    great shots

The rider is called Allard Kerhoven and rides in the Dutch Championship he has a riding style like Ben Spies has.
Sticking out the elbows and in this shot he tried to adjust his style. I really like the R1's this year with their awesome sound.
He made it stick pretty much and he doesn't fall off often.
Thanks for your compliments ;) well appreciated.
