I thought I'd start with something different, not the car closeup or the "Flying Finn" jump.

I always like photos of people taking pictures. So I like this one. I do wish the car was a little farther out in the open, past the tree, though. Not only is it a bit obscured but it's right smack in the middle of the image and my eye does kinda get stuck on it.

Well since that's where the cars spend most of their time, half glimpsed through the trees, I thought it was a lucky catch ;)

We only get good views in a few areas, and they lay out the fence deliberately in good spots.
Like on the uphill side of a left/right where they will get the tail out, or the outside of a hairpin (turn away to avoid broken lenses and headache after the shot), or of course by the jump.

Rest of the time as you walk through the forest you hear the banging of the turbo anti-stall on the older cars, or the wastegate chatter, and the roar of the acceleration. But you see almost nothing of the cars as they flash past through the trees.
