RAcing , Cardboard Box style

today was thh Annual Cardboard Box Race! and for the first time We put in an Entry . I spent a Good Hour on Saturday Night making our creation!!

Here are my Kids carring it up the hill



and here they are waiting there turn, you will notice the liberal application of Duct tape ! ( Duct Tape should have been a sponser of this! )



and on with the race.

early on it was discovered , make it too nose heavy bad things happen.



the use of cardboard tubes would tunr out to work very well



5 Teanage Girls , in Bikinis, in 25 degree weather . and then Crashing on the snow , yeah they were cold !!



This guy spent maybe 20 Minutes making his sled.



the Snowmakers , put a lot of work into it , and a Lot of beer.



Next was My Kids turn , unfortunatly I helped them get going and gave them a push , so I was unable to take any Pictures, but they did well, My daughter screamed the whole way down , and about 10 feet shy of the finish line it flipped over. but they were fine and had a great time.

this one would be the fastest , good thing they had that round Bumper up front they needed it when they carened into the end .



this was a Beutiful piece of work, and that Mast up front , well lets say it cot interesting , when it went out of control into the crowd, at the bottom ( after it crossed the finish line )



Nuff said



and these guys put it to gether fast , and it went fast



But it didn't hold together well when it hit a bump at the bottom .



it was a fun time
