    Pro softball

I love the 3:05 pm starts on Sunday afternoons as the sun is getting lower in the sky and since I shoot from the home team dugout, just over my shoulder.

Some great shots in there... I like the softer light, less shadows, etc, and sharp details... Very well captured...

Liking the dirt trail of the tag at home plate (first shot), very nice.

I noticed that you stand on the 3rd base side of the field. Is this the optimal place to capture field action? I stood on the 1st base side and was sometimes blocked by the 1st base coach.

I was in the third base dugout for these snaps but I do move around. There are places to shoot just beyond first and third base, which are elevated and which I use to shoot batters. The team also had gunports cut into the fence on the backstop for me so I can shoot the pitchers and infielders from another angle.
