Practicing Soccer while at a practice

    Hi All,

I have been trying to practice for soccer while my daughter practices. I don't get a chance to learn this type of shooting often so anything you all can add to my knowledge would be great.

    C/C is always needed..

    Thanks Guys (and Gals)

Nice color! My advice is follow the ball and click a split second before you think they are going to kick/pass/collide

Cute girl! I have 2 playing soccer this year U19 and U12, the U6 decided to play baseball instead. lol

    Laura,

Thanks... I need to get some timing down. These were ok, but I have a lot of "missed" pictures.

Phil I think you are off to a good start! keep at it and timing will improve the more you shoot and you will be able to anticipate more.

    Jimmy,
Thanks..... I missed her 1st game on Monday as I was out of town. I am very disappointed, but I will get over it. She wants me to take alot of pics and create a poster like I did with her brother's gymnastics. I will need some work, but I have an idea of what I want and need, but have to work to get those pics....

Knowing where the action is going to happen and following it is the most difficult part of shooting any sport. Experience is always the best teacher for this. Nice captures though, and tight shooting works well for this. Nice job!
