The Pitchers

[Old Timer]

Got out for my first baseball game of the Spring yesterday afternoon. I had a church meeting that limited me to two innings but I still enjoyed getting out of doors to shoot in good light for a change. Here are a few of the two dueling pitchers.

Nice. Number two may be a tad dark but overall, a nice selection of hurlers. Good detail in the whites, too.

I have a tendency to go a bit dark. I have a real fear of burn out highlights. Thanks for the look and the comments fidgety.

Faces are the best part of pitcher shots, in my opinion. The intensity it takes to throw a baseball hard is pretty high, so the faces show that stress

Thanks Paul. I think so many of the parts of the pitchers delivery are unique and interesting, I tried to get a cross section here of the many different stages.

He doing the same thing that my son has been doing. Dragging his mit.

I like the one that you shot of the back of the pitcher. I tried the same angle this weekend and really liked it. It yields some neat shots.
