    Photo-John, you want Paddleboard action?

How about 3 ladies doing yoga on paddleboards?

Or 3 ladies doing yoga on one paddleboard?

Jumping off or over something to your paddleboard can be fun.

And there is no reason to limit yourself to just one person on a board.

But the best is probably a paddleboard run..... :yikes:

The scary thing is that I actually have a lot more.

Oh, so many shots into the light with no fill-in

You know the first thing I noticed on that yoga shot?
    The tilted horizon.
And in #2, it feels tilted, though it might be an illusion from the differing height of the trees.

I get the feeling the action with paddleboards is rather slow, even the surfing shot doesn't look that dynamic.

#4 is good timing, but the horizon!
#5 really needs a lift in the shadows otherwise it'd be great.

I love the board running series, we used to do that across canoe rafts.
And it usually ended in a similar dunking

Are you shooting these from a board yourself?
I know I'd be off the board more than on it
What are you using for protecting the camera, or it it a waterproof camera?
Does the camera have exposure compensation for those sky/water/action shots?

Re: Photo-John, you want Paddleboard action?

Are you shooting these from a board yourself? A couple of them (the surfing photo for one) I was swimming, the rest I was on a board.

I know I'd be off the board more than on it I have only fallen in once when I was shooting.

What are you using for protecting the camera, or it it a waterproof camera? Most of these were shot with a Canon 7D in an AquaTech housing (hence no fill flash ). I also shoot with a Sony TX10 which is a waterproof P-n-S but the shutter lag and such don't really lend itself to action shots.

Does the camera have exposure compensation for those sky/water/action shots? Yes and I was using it, still that is mostly very nasty light.
    No, I DON'T need that.
