    Perspective

I thought this shot was wonderful. It also aptly summed up the match, in which the Leigh Centurions (in black) were easily beaten by Featherstone (in blue). It was very much men against boys.

    Re: Perspective

I don't think it's that no one liked it but more no sees it the way your seeing it. I guess here they are used to seeing action and not someone holding the ball in soccer. I hope you understand what I'm saying here.

    Re: Perspective

Rugby is a game played by men with odd shaped balls
I agree, there's not much action in the shot - it doesn't tell the story.
But with the right caption it might support the story of the game.

    Re: Perspective

I might have failed to explain the shot suitably

This shot was pretty much just an accident, and i normally wouldn't have bothered with it. However, it nicely summed up the match because one team was beaten easily. Now both men in this picture are virtually the same size, but the perspective makes the player on the winning team look huge, whilst the opposition played looks tiny. In fact, it looks like it would be futile for him to even try and get past.

Here are some of my fave action shots from the same game:

    Re: Perspective

You ended up with some nice captures here. I've been able to hit a couple of rugby games.

#1 and #3 from the second group show the "beating" given out. Nice job....
