Great shots! I really like shooting the little guys. They can be a lot of fun and have some of the best expressions.

I always loved playing ball like this when I was younger. Good shots you always do a great job, also in your first post, second image down was number 4 traveling ;) ? Great captures, keep up the great work, also were you using your 85mm or 70-200, not that it matters.

Re: Parks & Rec Youth BB

I was using the 85mm....faster with the f/1.8 than the other lens...

Yes he was traveling, he is the little hot shot, that is only used to playing in the back yard, so he likes to hold on to the ball, and wants to use both hands sometimes....

The refs don't call a lot of that with the littlest ones....although he is on our team and not the pee wee's....so they will call it on him in the future....he is going to be an awesome player when he gets older though...

Great shots, BFiredUp! The kids are so cute. The 3rd one in the first group is my favorite. My daughter ended up being better than either of her older brothers. They never gave her a break when playing with her and while it frustrated her (and reduced her to tears on occasion), it also made her more determined and she worked even harder. I'll look forward to seeing more pictures of your daughter.

Well last year they wouldn't even pass her the ball, it took her to the last game to score..everyone in the stands from both teams were yelling...throw Rachel the ball...throw Rachel the ball....I had tears in my eyes, and could hardly cheer....
She is the only girl on the team....but this year she is in the starting 5...and scored right away....so she is getting there....LOL

Good for her tell her to keep it up, also another great thing I don't know about your area look for summer basketball camps that can reinforce fundamentals. Dribble that ball, shooting free throws, etc. When I was a boy I would play sun up to sun down, dribble the ball where ever I went. It is an amazing game, and tell her to keep up the good work.

    Nice pics....

I really like #2 and #4 on the first group. Kids are the greatest to shoot because you always get emotions as they play for the love of the game. Plus they just are so cute....

    Good job..
