    Paddle Boarding Tahoe area

Went out with some Paddle Boarders in November! Near Tahoe. It was cold but lots of fun.

The fog over the lake in the first shot really makes it look surreal to me. I love Lake Tahoe but I have to admit I've never been out on it.

So that's what paddle boarding is!
Second one looks like you applied the Orton effect.
Third one is much better with less agressive pp.
I wish you'd also shot the first one portrait, to get more mountain.

Nice series.. The first group looked like it could have been Donner Lake, Truckee area... Couldn't tell on the others, but it looked a lot warmer!

    Great stuff, as usual...

    Shal,

Neat images! I especially like the first three with #1, a great mood shot, being the star of the show.

I used to live near Hillsborough. Bing Crosby lived there.

Thanks. The others are from Fallen Leaf Lake, just south of Tahoe.

Gorgeous pics. Looks like a lot of fun in a very beautiful setting.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Ah, Fallen Leaf... yah, that's a bit closer to Tahoe than Donner.. ;) It's been a while since I've been lakeside there, most recently I've only looked down on it from above when climbing Talac... Didn't recognize the view....

Anyway, nice shots taking advantage of the late season sun..... Now if we can just switch gears and start getting some serious snowfall, I'll be happy...

did you do some clarity editing on the 2nd pic? the dark areas around the people is kinda distracting.. other than that, great photos! the dof makes it look so sureal and the fog is awesome

Thanks, I did use an Orton effect on the shot to increase the " surealness"
