    The other girls team tonight

Tonight, I shot the other HS girls team in the county. They haven't had a good season for a lot of reasons including no seniors and a new coach. The one bright spot is a seventh grader that plays on the varsity squad and is just tremendous. Below is another shot of her as she is also the one in the photo of the week above. By the way, thanks so much for picking one of my shots for POW! She was the leading scorer tonight and is really a great kid. I look forward to watching her in the future since she could be one of the greats from this area.

The shadow in the bottom one is a bit distracting to me.

7th grader, wow. The first shot I can't see her face very well but the lighting rocks, the second one down I think if you cropped it in the right fashion you could get rid of most of the shadow and make it more or less a non-problem.

Thanks guys, these were pretty much straight out of the camera when I got home. I tried moving the flashes a little more towards the center of the court to cut some of the shadows under the rim and it threw that shadow of the backboard that you see. It didn't really help underneath either so I'll be going back to my original setup.
