    one shot

    this was from a while ago at the edmonton grand prix.

    its hard to find a spot without fences or barriers in the way...but i tried

    Well I think you hit the nail on the head with the self critique. I think I'd crop most of the background out after straightening. Not a bad start though.

    Mostly I think it's the angle you shot from.
    The contact patches of the wheels are pretty much straight.
    You've got the panning right, the car is all in the frame.
    Nice amount of wheel blur.
    I think it lost some sharpness when you resized it, but all in all a good couple of shots.

    And you can't really go wrong with a bright primary colour on the car
    I prefer almost anything to grey, white, and black - who wants a boring race car ?
