    Not a focus problem

It's me - you cen tell by the sharp image at the bottom of the brake disc and the blur at the top that I was panning too slowly.
But through a keyhole sized electronic viewfinder which goes blank as you press the shutter release, I'm surprised I was this close.

    Re: Not a focus problem

So why are you using this P&S stuff? You have better gear! Some guy the other night at IRP had a P&S and actually appeared to get some good shots of a spin. Of the 25 photogs in that area I was the only one using pro gear. At the other end two had Nikon pro gear.... 50 plus photogs and three using pro gear. But the amazing thing were the 30 or so still using FILM! All saying they would quit before going digital. All used to shoot at Indy but since everyone went digital at Indy those not going digital got the boot.

I don't have better gear until next week, when Canon shoudl have their techs back from the Monaco GP and work on overhauling it.

Besides, I wanted people to see just what a P&S is capable of - it's not just DSLR owners that can get action photos !

Well if they all are going to quit before going to digital, I am guessing they will be all quiting in a year or so with all the big boys leaving film.
