    NFL field passes

I know that they are very hard to get, but is there anyway to get a field pass to an NFL game without being associated with a TV network or a major newspaper? I've photographed high school and college football games, but I'd love to do an NFL game sometime. Has anybody here ever gotten one or even tried to get one? Could I possibly get one through a local, small town newspaper?

    Re: NFL field passes

Your best bet is to get a pass to preseason practice, maybe, if your really lucky you might get a pre-season game pass but thats pretty iffy. Without a newspaper to shoot for it's unlikely you'll get a game pass. I have shot the Colts in the past but only because the paper gets the credentials. Whew, there is nothing like beeing on the floor of the RCA Dome during a Colts game, it's loud and you feel the noise as much as you hear it. I wonder what the new Lucas Oil Stadium will be like. I will find out as I have a game there this month... unfortunately it's a high school game... Oh well.
