The new king of sports photo equipment

    I have seen it.

    I have touched it.

I have held down the shutter release and listened to it roar.

    It is good.

    hey john,

any chance of sneaking your own CF in there and making off with some samples? you may have to put on a disguise or something but might be worth it ;)

Not a bad idea. I've got a bunch of extra cards and I'm only shooting the show at 1600x1200 with the G2. I'll see if I can't take a few tomorrow.

    Thanks for the idea!

It does seem very, very nice

I'm hoping to get to play with one at the Focus exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham (England) next weekend.

If only I could afford one (and the pc upgrades necessary to use it properly!)

    My Advice

    Simon-
Stay away - far away! The camera is too nice. Once it gets you in its grasp, you won't be able to get away. I'm disappointed it seems so good. I was hoping it wouldn't be so different from my 1D. That way I wouldn't feel like I have to buy one.

    Damn.
