NASA (cars) Racing over the weekend

I had a blast, it was horribly, horribly hot, 105 degrees! The fist shot is the track, Barber Mororsports Park, it's beautiful.

Re: NASA (cars) Racing over the weekend

People think I am crazy when I tell them I spent hours in the hot sun photographing racing events (I think they might be right, too). Still, I can't wait to get out there and do it again.

    I had a blast
I know just where you are coming from... Nice photos.

Wow, that first shot is awesome Lori! That thunderhead is HUGE!

LOL to the Hertz car... did he run that on track? That would be incredible if someone did.

The civilians always have a hard time with the time and conditions we work under when we are sports shooters. The sunburns, aching backs or frozen digits are all worth it when we open up those beautiful files and start to sort through action shot after action shot. I LOVE IT! From the images you produce it's obvious you do too Lori.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

those are great shots, expecially number one and the last one. Is that a rental ;) hope they got the insurance. That first shot is a great example of what ruins race day.\
