I've got to be honest here- this was 10X easier to shoot than the boxing card I shot only 2 days earlier. With boxing there's the press conferences, the weigh-ins, and the event itself which I always show up early at to insure I get a good spot, and of course the competition- I want to be the best at every event I cover, and not just by a small margin. With Muay Thai and kickboxing however it's different- there's none of the pressure; it's much further removed from the main stream, and as such I'm usually the only serious photographer covering these events. My only pressure is the good kind- to take the best shots I can, because unlike with boxing, these guys actually buy my work.
