We had the Half Growler (32 Mi) on Saturday and the full (64 Mi) on Sunday on our local trails at Hartman Rocks. The race is a long grueling technical ride that can put the hurt on even the best riders. I've done the 64 a couple of times but sat this one out due to an injury I'm trying to get sorted out. So I shot a bunch of photos and had a fun weekend cheering for my friends.
Saturday was very dusty and smoky with brutally high winds. Sunday was better but got windy in the afternoon. Tough conditions out there!
Our mayor and my friend started it off downtown with a shotgun blast. He's not really a cowboy or a gun guy so this is a fun photo for us.

Susan D's (and Dave Wiens') son did the 32 and turned in a great time. Especially considering he's only 13!

I'm still sorting and processing the ~2000 shots from the weekend but hope to have some galleries up for racers to buy photos soon.
