    MTB Pictures from October

    Hi

I'm currently working through some pictures I took at a MTB race in South Africa. Never got round to looking at them. I usually ride this race but due to an operation I had to sit on the sidelines. Let me know what you think.

No1 was quite funny, shot at the start of the race.
No2 is one of the riders doing the quick 28km
No3 shows the winner of the 56km jumping off the bridge. Unfortunately I could not get further to the left due to a fence to catch the runner up right behind him on the bridge.

I like the last one, do you have any more from the side where you could demonstrate the air?

Love the helmet hat, I guess I can call it that. The last two show good "air" but there is a lot missing from them. The biker is looking down, I think there is something with the crop also but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe a different angle would help, but I also think that since the sun is to the right of you, could be affecting your shots.

Thanks for the feedback. I probably caught the only two guys which actually gave it a bit of "air". The bridge they are jumping from is on a slight uphill and has a steep ramp on the other side... not much to build speed on. Hopefully next year I'll be riding it and not taking picutures. I was however nice to get the chance to take a few shots.

Looks like it goes over a road with live traffic.
