    motorcross - the races

Well it was an interesting day, starting at 8am with an hour + drive to shoot girls gymnastics. Then heading home around 3pm to dump the photos onto the computer and head off to the motorcross an hour later. After dealing with traffic in Indy, a normal 25 minute drive to the RCA Dome took an hour longer because of everything going on downtown. It included a cheerleading competition at the convention center (attached to the RCA Dome), Ohio State playing in the NCAA Womens basketball tourney (their bus almost hit me!) the girls high school state basketball finals at Conseco, a big party at the convention center, a computer show at the convention center and who knows what else. Parking was a nightmare, and costs ranged from $3 to $20. I finally got parked, 6 blocks from the RCA Dome!
Finally getting to the dome I got inside and just in time, 20 minutes before things started, and I hit town 2 hours earlier! It's a good thing I know my way around the Dome as I had to get to the other end, and to the lower level quick. I got there just as things were starting, then had to wait for the officials to allow us on the floor. From then on it was an action packed night.

Looks like you had a little trouble with these, John. Doesn't reflect your normal stuff.

Andy, you forget, all the "good" stuff goes to the paper, and these were not cleaned up or anything....didn't have time to mess with them

    Re: motorcross - the races

Well it turns out part of the problem, most of it in fact was after upgrading software I hadn't noticed the "save for web settings" had changed....Ok, being on drugs for my shoulder sugery, lack of sleep, pain, upgrading and being out of it led to some strange things. Hopefully these new ones look a bit better and not over compressed.
