And now for something completely different...

Haha, j/k, these are all wonderful images Wull. The focus looks perfect, the pans spot-on, composition is great. I only have two things to say: the exposure looks great in all of them except the last one (a bit too dark), and duck-taped knee pucks, really? Those have got to go!

    Re: Motorbike racing

    That's looking good.
    So, a 300mm prime?
    And nice wide aperture?
Just the thing - as long as you can carry it !

    Re: Motorbike racing

    Thanks for the comments.
Have to agree Brad, New leathers required. He lost a slider during qualifying and wasnt taken any chances for the races. Gaffer tape to the rescue

    Paul. Its a 70 - 300mm 1:4.5-5.6G and i am over the moon with it:thumbsup:

Here are a couple i got of the wee fella yesterday and i know yous are probably bored looking at the same thing from me but the C&C from you all has helped me improve to a point where i am almost happy with some of the photos i take

Any comments good or bad appreciated

    Thanks again

    Re: Motorbike racing

I think it's fixed your focus issues !
    Your panning is good, too.
I reckon you've got a good combination here.

That really dark shot at f/16 would probably have been better shot with a wider aperture, it looks underexposed.

Poor lad needs a sponsor to pay for more leathers, rather than using gaffer tape !

More great photos! #1 in this second set is probably my favorite of all your photos, Wull. It's superb. The framing is perfect, focus/panning looks spot-on, colors are great, and the lighting is excellent. It looks every bit a professional shot.

    Re: Motorbike racing

Thanks very much for your comments and all the help

Off to Oulton park at the weekend so will be at it again. Going to try and think about the backgrounds a bit more and try not to cut bikes in half and folks heads off :mad2:

    Thanks again Wull
