Middle School Track

Middle school track really only lasts about four weeks here and the first two were rained out, so I was excited to get out there this last Saturday to shoot some track action. All pictures were taken with the 300 at f/2.8.

Nice as usual Jim. Just 4 weeks? Odd, ours is rather long, almost as long as the high schoolers.... but thats in the spring

Thanks JS, our middle schools here break up the meets. They'll have a carnaval where there's just running and it's for fun. Next will be a practice meet, then a league meet, and finally a All-City Meet. Each year they switch and are currently doing the boys now. The girls will be around March.

Wonderful images. You caught peak action in each shot. We do all our track Middle School and High School in the spring. I always enjoy shooting track lots of action that can be anticipated and timed.
