    Maxpreps

If there are any Maxpreps members out there I am looking for a sponsor to join. Any takers?

I shoot for MaxPreps. Go to this page and complete the application and have six images that you can upload for review. You don't need a sponsor. I'm not sure but I think my regional rep also covers your area. He's good people. They will be very critical of the shots you submit with your application so show them your best. Good luck!

I did apply on my own as was denied. I was a bit surprised as I'm a senior member of sportsshooter.com and some of the pics I see on maxpreps are not very good. I had daylight football pics I sent in that were at IS0 50 and tack sharp and I was told there was to much noise and that they were soft. Someone told em that want you to put down references to get in.

They are going to want night HS football shots for sure. It sounds like you got the stock reply that they send out. It has a number of issues listed that may or may not apply to the shots you sent them. If you think it would help feel free to use me as a reference. Generally, these requests go to the regional rep first and then to the director of photography. They are VERY tough and will view any images at 100% while looking for sharpness/focus, exposure, and color. No red eye or devil eye and good composition. They also use a default crop of 2166 x 1600 for all images posted on the site so I cropped to that size when I submitted.
