Last weekend required life jackets to say the least, the only good news is it was NOT hot!
Here are some shots I was able to save. First one is my friend Nate Kern (also on red and white bike), Campionships BMW racer, second is proof we can do anything, he was hit by a SUV about 1 1/2 years ago and lost his right arm, got right back on the horse to (so to speak) and is doing amazing (oh yeah, he is 20 now) the other is just rain lol
How do I get the camera to NOT focus on the rain drops?

AF + M Let the camera get the main subject and then manually adjust. That's the only way I know of anyway

I love that last shot with the spray. Shows how good these guys really are staying up in hydroplane situations.

The first image is great Lori. The 5th really shows how much water was crossing the track at the chicane. Yikes - I wouldn't want to be leaned over on the gas through there!

I would like to see more pics of the kid with one arm. Amazing job . I want to go out soo bad to a track. Im trying to get my friends to take me to there next track days.

Found them quicker than I expected....the one with his leg out is how he is signaling he will be pitting(normally done by raisng ones arm). Excuse the crappines lol it was sunny and cloudy and bright and dark and raining at the blink of an eye (or lens)
