    Nice, you captured a great moment in the action. My only critique is it looks like your focal point is the guy sitting in the background.

    Very Noisy image. Could you have brought your f/stop down a bit and kept the shutter speed and turned your ISO down a bit? It's nice to see some different sports related images I'm tired of looking at my own basketball shots.

    I agree that if possible, wider aperture would separate the action from the background.

    Thanks guys for the comments!

    It was the second time that I shot Judo tournament. Next time if the lighting condition allowed, I'd try shooting at lower ISO. I guess I was too focused on the action and didn't realise that at least for that shot, I could have used lower ISO and wider f-stop. But then, usually at small, local tourney like that, the lighting condition is far from ideal.

    The noise is nothing a little NN or NeatImage couldn't resolve. It appears that the camera focused on the judge in the black suit since there was more contrast there and he was in the center of the lens. Tough to prevent that without resorting to manual focus in this instance. A shallower DOF might have helped that. Great capture though!
