    The Legends

Well the players may someday be legends but for now they have to be satisfied with having Legends across their chest. I went with a group from the our local high school to the Lexington Legends Class A baseball game last night. No special treatment here so I was shooting from the stands. Here are a few I hope you enjoy. On the pick off move the pitcher caught the runner so far off the base he didn't even try to get back to first.

Good shots Larry. No particular favorites, they all are outstanding.

Thanks John! I know these are pretty run of the mill but I had a good time doing them. Love to have a chance to hang around this level ball and do a lot more. Sure a step up form the high school and LL I'm use to.

Thank you JS! I was hoping the title would get a few people wondering and looking. I've gotta a few more that I'll try to get to a little later. Got a couple of a real legends little one that some may find interesting.

Glad you had a good time. That's what I love about minor league ball. After 12 seasons of watching and getting to know those players, it's a special thrill when you see one of them reach the majors.

Many are called but few are chosen. It's a ruff road to the Show, but one that is sure worth the effort. It's always heart warming to see a rookie come up and get his first major league at bat or pitch.
