    Laytown 2011

Laytown races occupies a unique position in the Irish racing calendar as it is the only race event run on a beach under the Rules of Racing, it's the only officially approved beach racing in Europe.

Oh, WOW! I love that third photo! I see in the fourth one you were trying to include the water, which I would have also tried to do. But unfortunately, the last image doesn't have the impact of the previous image. That third photo is a really beauty.

Can you give us some technical details? What camera, lens, ISO, shutter speed, etc. I'm also always interested in sports photographers' focus techniques. Are you prefocusing or using continuous auto focus?

Thanks for sharing photos of this unique event!
