Last second win!

This has been an interesting week to say the least. I shot three basketball games and all three came down to the last minute to decide the winner, but tonights game went to the last second and put one of our local teams into the sectional championship tomorrow night. The first shot isn't the one the paper got, it shows his face. The other is just part of the celebration afterwards. As the player who scored gets surrounded by teamates he lookes up to the scoreboard to see they just won 50-49. They got the ball with 4.4 seconds to go, the fans all thought it was over with and the season was over... not yet anyway!

Nice catch JS. The slightly out of focus scoreboard in the background gives the last shot context. Really nice phojo work there! We just finished district and the regionals start next week. I will be in Miami until Wednesday night so I hope to catch the regional finals on Thurs/Fri. At least one of our teams should be in both the girls and boys finals.

I'm surprised the paper used one similar to the celebration shot but they cut the scoreboard out! All I can think of is it was a space issue. They did use 4 shots in the paper including the winning layup.

Well time to get some sleep, this was a long week
