Unhappy Last Football for this Season

Tonight was the last regular season game for the season. Playoffs start next week and both county teams are matched up with teams in the top 3 in the state in their first game. :cryin: Here's a few from tonight. BTW we lost 41 to 27.

    Hey there football fan,

Those pictures are why I hate shooting flash in sports. The red-eyes, just look at that grass, though your subjects look really, really sharp, even the guys in front and behind your main subject. Must be because of resizing them, huh? What ISO speed did you use?

Looks like you got that flash going well now Daniel, good job! I won't be shooting any football now until the day after Thanksgiving, I have day one of the State Finals at the new Lucas Oil Stadium (2 games) IF the doc clears me to shoot that is.

jhodges - The grass is actually that brown now. These were at ISO 1000 and 1250 depending where they were on the field. The reason for the softness of the other players is that I also had to shoot at f2.8. That kind of lighting and the fact that the paper wants them crisp is why I use flash to begin with.

    Hiya again,

Do you run any noise reduction program on your photos?

Very light batch processing in Noise Ninja. Football and the occasional night soccer game are the only times I have to use it.
