    Lake Cunningham Skatepark BMX

Inspired by dmourati, I went down to Lake Cunningham Skatepark ( what a nice place ). Have never shot BMX before and looking for some tips and opinions. I became intrigued by the hollow sphere ( not sure what the technical name is ) lined up for some shots. The " perspective shots " seem to lack impact and the shots that I took from inside the sphere ( at great personal risk ) seemed to lack perspective. Any comments/tips from the members?

    I think it's called a half-sphere or cradle.

I like the colors in the second to last one. Be careful down there. Gotta have quick reflexes and a familiarity with the fetal position.

I think what you've shot has potential, but I think you should step back or shoot the sphere or whatever it is called wide so you get the entire structure/environment..
    Just a thought.

It would look cool with a fisheye!

I agree, the colours of #5 with a really wide angle to put it in context.
I'm wondering about a shot with 2nd curtain flash, camera static, to give movement to the rider as well as capturing the background.
