    Laguna Seca: MotoGP

Though I would share a few photos from the races. Didn't get many pictures of the actual bikes this year. Just too many people fighting for the fence... So here are some photos of the event as a whole.

    70-200

    Enjoy

With a 70-200 you must have been close !

You look to have had a difficult time with the light though, it's almost overhead, very harsh, #4 into the sky is very tricky.

I prefer the impresison of speed in #2 vs the sharpness in #1

Shane, how do you get the blured background? I shot a few rolls of film at last years ALMS race at Laguna Seca and all the cars look like they are parked on the track. I even panned with the cars and the backgrounds still came out almost perfect.

Shot #2 I used a shutter speed of 1/125. This shot was coming right down the front straight away and I had a hard time even panning with the bikes they were moving so fast.

No event is complete without girls! Nice pictures, but as Wombat said, the light seemed to be a little tricky.
