    Lacrosse

Was lucky enough to nab some press passes to the MLL championships in Boston. Got some fairly good shots, including (but not limited to) the following. Thoughts?

Great shots. A little creative cropping may enhance the intensity of the action.

Great action shots, Livin. One piece of advice - watch your horizon lines. On the second picture, you can tell that it is crooked. It looks like the players are playing on a hill.

    Re: Lacrosse

As mentioned the one shot is crooked, use photoshop and strasighten a bit. The other shot looses a lot with the guy walking along the left side, I'd crop that out. The other thing that bugs me, probably because of doing so much news paper sports and the editor pounding it into my head head,,,,always have the ball/puck, whatever in a shot. The bottom shot would have been great verticle.
Just some thoughts, keep up the work and it will come.

thanks for the responses guys! Yeah, I wish I had gotten a good capture on the second shot, but he caught me totally off guard. I was ready for a basic run-around-the-goal-and-shoot, and then he jumped through the air. The second game I shot wider and cropped in PS afterwards. hows this for the first one?

    I think it's just perspective.
Relative to the line on the pitch, it's straight.

Now that's a little more intense. Cropping it really brings the viewer into the picture. Great job.
