    Kayaking in February

OK Now before anyone get all up in arms , because no Life jackets and not the proper attire for winter kayaking. here isthe deal , this is a creek that is behind my house , the water is only 2 feet deep at its deepest..

that Said , My Kids and I had some fun Playing around ion said stream , after we had 2 inches of rain on Friday Night which helped to melt lots of snow , so the crrek was actually high enough m that we could launch it with out just sitting on the bottom .

    MY boy

    and My Girl !

Yes that water was Cold ! and no we did not fall in.

Pretty cool, how far could they go before they had to take it back up stream.

Those are pretty neat. I confess, the main thing I think about when I look at them is how cold it would be if the kayak rolled. But it sounds like it was safe. That doesn't mean it's not risky, though. I sure wouldn't want to fall in, even if it is only two feet deep!
