I found out a bit more of the event - rather than the short description of an 11 yrs old girl - yesterday was the start of the national championship, the category where her friend ran and won is the shifter S5, for pilots between 12- 15 yrs old and less than 80kg of body weight.

The championship has only 6 dates in different cities, next one will be in Leon Guanajuato.

It's great to practice on, particularly for panning as you're usually closer to the track and so it takes good technique.
More races, more practice, and I expect you will get more keepers.

Excellent Job, I did about 1500 shots of the SuperNationals while they were here in Las Vegas, Nevada in November 2010.
What lens did you use for these???
I need a lens that gives me that D.O.F.
