JV Football Week #2 (catching up)

These photos were taken by my 14 year old son Mike with my Canon 20D & Tamron 100-300 f/5-6.3

This game was actually a Saturday morning game in Oxnard, Calif. (close to the beach so it is overcast).

Picture #1 Players in the air
Picture #2 Great block (lifts the defensive player off his feet)
Picture #3 This is the photo the paper published (quarterback about to get sacked)
Picture #4 This is David (#30) returning a kickoff

You would think that having your twin brother shooting pics that you would get more photo time... but Mike is pretty good about being objective and going for the action shot.

Okay - lets see if I did this right

Not bad for someone with very little experience. Now to work on zooming in on players, thats when things get tricky and staying with the action gets tougher. A little practice and he'll have it though.
