    Indy Car Baltimore GP

Few Shots from this weekends Indy Car inaugural Baltimore GP. Click any one of the photos to see the rest on my flickr. What an electric atmosphere all weekend very cool to see these cars racing throughout a city.

shutter speed a little high perhaps, there's little motion.
difficult head-on because a slow shutter blurs the car.

in the panning shots of the GTs coming into the corner later in the flickr stream, there was good opportunity for a slow shutter pan to blur the background and wheels giving a great impression of speed.

Thanks for the comments, smartwombat I have a few panning shots but wasnt happy with them, most of the photo holes were crammed so it was difficult to pan but I will look through a few that I got and post them up, but it's definitely something I'm working on.

    Nice clear and vivid shots.

I love action shots specially when the wheels are in motion and not freezed by its action. 1/250 is best for panning in the stretch for touring car race.
