    Indiana State Basketball Finals

Where am I today? At Conseco Fieldhoue watching Indiana's biggest sport. These four are from game 1 of 4 today. This is Class A, the small schools, and they drew 13,000+ to the 17,000 seat fieldhouse.

Hauser won it's first ever state championship in this game.

    Re: Indiana State Basketball Finals

I particularly like the action on #2 and the whole "it's him" thing in #3
They stand out from the rest.

You couldn't have worse coloured team outfits, could you?
Black and white strip in the first game, then that dark green and white in the second.
Add to that the yellow and brown off the court, and the variables of indoor lighting.
Your 1D has coped really well considering all the problems !

Nice job John. State finals are real treat. But what I can't believe is that Indiana doesn't fill the place, we fill Rupp Area 22,000+ for one game of the state finals.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Doesn't look yellow here Liven, you have to remember the differences in monitors, even calibrated monitors can show colors differently after they age.

OT: lol, since they went to "Class Basketball" they do not fill the place, but, considering they had 13,000+ for the smallest class game they did very well. The first night game wasn't that large and that was for two teams that are not far from Indy, maybe 9,000. But game #4 was a sellout.

Yea SW, the colors are very funky. One photog who's been considering the MKII N downloaded a couple of my photos to look at on his laptop and said "Monday I'm buying a MKII N".

    Re: Indiana State Basketball Finals

Game #4, Class 4A. A repeat of last seasons championship game as Lawrence North and Muncie Central met. Lawrence North is the nations #1 team and has the nations number 1 player Greg Oden #50. Oden and teamate Mike Connelly #11 will be headed to Ohio State next season. Lawrence North won thier 3rd consecutive state championship and 45th consecutive game beating Muncie Central 80-56. The game was basically over at the end of the first quarter as Lawrence North jumped out to a 24-7 lead.

It was a fun day of shooting to say the least, but you know you have been on the elevator at Conseco Fieldhouse when the operator knows you by name, and rembers you missed the state wrestling finals! Even the head of security wondered where I was for the wrestling.

don't you notice the obvious difference between the first and last photos in your second to last post? They have a yellow tint.
