I think he's nuts

Surfing in a gap about 50 feet wide between the metal supports of the pier and the sea wall.
I was wondering if I'd get a shot of him being smashed against the wall by a wave.

Not the best angle but a sweet photo nonetheless, Paul. That does look like a high consequence surf spot. I'd love to see it from the opposite side, with the surfer coming towards the camera. Is there a reason you didn't shoot it like that? Also - is this an OM-D image?

I was walking on the pier with Angie, looking at the waves breaking on the sea wall - then noticed the two surfers out trying to catch the waves.
Angie didn't fancy going out onto the beach to try to catch this from the other angle, so I just took a few grab shots from up above on the pier.
