    I Know It's Football Season...

But I'm still taking race car pictures. Here are a few from Saturday night. Lots of action, 360 Sprints, Limited Sprints, Street Stocks and more. No Modifieds though, until next week.

kinda wondering about those coupes in the third pic.
there is a major difference in size between the two.
we have some dwarf cars around here styled after the old coupes and sometimes some full size coupes show up at places and are allowed to run with the street stocks.
i have to say that those cars look like they are from different classes?
i dont have a clue, was the pic taken during hot laps ?

The class (third photo) is called Florida Old-time Modifieds. They were not even on the schedule and I have only seen them run on a few occasions. They run by themselves, but there were only 5 or 6 cars in the field. These guys race each other, but not real hard. They don't rub on each other much either. It's is almost like an exhibition race. I believe I did shoot that shot during the race, but it could have been taken during practice laps.

As you might be able to tell by the last three photos, the Old-time Modifieds probably wouldn't fare real well in the "bang em' up" Street Stocks at Eastbay.
