I got a Alpinestars Media vest today

I emailed them last month to see if I can get one, they asked for my resume and portfolio and stuff. Today in the mail I received a box with it. wondering how hard is it to get one? I have read that its very hard, but hey I got one. Besides I also told them thats the only gear I use when I ride .lol well here is pics of it, cant wait to go out with it.:thumbsup:

I've got one! I got it way back in 2000, I think. I rarely wear it. Mine is standard issue khaki. Looks like they've made them look a little less nerdly

Congratulations. I hope you get good use out of it. Photo vests do have their place. They're great for shooting events.

These are standard issue for the permanent DTM press photographers.
I wouldn't have wanted to wear one at Indy though - 95 degrees and track temps over 100!
Pity the poor pit lane photographers, full Nomex for the live pits (like le Mans 24h).
