    Hoops

This is as close as I've gotten to basketball court this week. Most everything is shut down because of the weather.

I'd love to see a slow motion video of ball going through that and see all the ice disturbed

I'm not too familiar with the snowy condition but the photo opportunities must be nice.

    Nice shot OT

That a great idea for a shot. I'll have to see about that.

Our home office is in Louisville and I've talked to a few folks down there that have been freaking out over the weather. Up here in northern Illinois we just shrug our shoulders like it's a typical day in the winter for us.

I love the shot. I think if you were to shoot a b-ball going through it, it should be the red, white and blue ones. Just me though...

The big problem across the state has been a massive loss of electrical service. I'm in the insurance business so I'm seeing a lot of the effects on my clients. Our state claims office lost power so we were handicapped trying to report and handle our clients claims. I really don't know how all you guys up north cope with this year after year.

Yeah the old ABA Red, White and Blue ball would be just the thing for that shot. Nice observation.

    OT

We wonder sometimes too how we cope with this weather. Yesterday morning we had 30 below and this morning we have 20 above. And a couple weeks ago we had 45 below.

Now I am off to an eighth grade basketball tournament today.

That is a great shot you took and what a great idea to get a shot of a ball going through that net.

Hopefully I will get some nice shots today. If I could come close to the shots that you guys take I would be happy.

Hope your weather gets nice soon.

    Dawn
