    Holiday BB Tournament Time

Well, this is probably the busiest two weeks of the year for me. (and probably several others on this forum) I'm in between games right now, this tournament is a busy one. 4 games on Thursday, 4 on Friday, and 5 today. Thought I'd share a couple while I had some time to breathe. These were at ISO 800, f2.8, 1/320 or 1/400 shutter, using remote Sunpak 383s at 1/2 power triggered with Elinchrom Skyports.

    Daniel,
Yeah, the flash looks much better here! I would crop the excess out but nice action
Well it sounds like you will be busy over the holidays I got it easy this year, nothing now til the 27th as our last regular season game of the year was last night and until the 27th I am just covering major incidents.... wrecks, fires etc and then the 27th id the Hall of Fame at New Castle, but I lucked out and only have one game that day. The 28th I have day one of the county tourney, and only have to drive 1/2 mile for that. Then the 29th I have the busy day as I am going to the USAC midget races at the Ft Wayne convention center.... 9am to 10pm not including the 90 minute drive each way.

good timing, but try shooting tighter. If you shoot tighter, zoomed in more, you will be able to blur out the bg more. that is the most distracting part of these images, the BG that is still in pretty clear focus.
