    Hole in the bridge

Come the F1 race, they unlock the photographer holes on the bridge and close the bridge to fans. The rest of the time they are padlocked shut, after all, why let fans get photos of the pits and the start ?
Sometimes unscrupulous fans will open the ports.
    And then opportunists get photos

    Re: Hole in the bridge

Very cool SW. One thing I'll never forget is going to the Laguna Seca MotoGP in 2005 and walking over the Start/Finish bridge during MotoGP practice. It has a solid floor and sides, to keep people from watching, but it's only 15-20ft off the track. The sound of the bikes going by at 150mph just below was simply unbelievable; it reverberated in there and you could feel it in your soul.
