    Highschool Wrestling-League tournament

Had the opportunity to shoot a highschool league tournament over the this last weekend. The gym had large windows along the ceiling which provided a lot of natural light. I shot all of these at an ISO of 640, shutter of 1/250, and f/2.8. Sorry there's so many but there were quite a few that I liked and wanted to share.

    Re: Highschool Wrestling-League tournament

Nice shots, great timing. I think the faces in shots #3,4,&6 show the emotion and effort involved in this sport. Although we don't have wrestling in the local high schools here, my brother wrestled in IL back in the day and I can appreciate the hard work these athletes put in. Thanks for sharing.

Nice pics.. Great timing. I just shot a wrestling meet for the 6 to 12 year olds. I know it is a tough time getting good shots, but you have them. Good Job....

Good job Jim, only suggestion is to avoid the "back" shots though. Without face(s) of the participants they really don't do much.

I hear you JS but I wanted something a little different than the ground work you usually see in wrestling and when they do the throws I shoot away. I have to take them as they happen but understand the need for faces.
