    College baseball

I must admit, I've never been a big fan of my Mark II inside in low light but when spring comes and I'm shooting in daylight with my 300 2.8L, there's almost nothing that can beat that combination.

Awesome shots...I love the Rock Valley SS turning two, great timing and perfect clarity.

The SS for the green team should be cut immediately though...eyes closed??? Show that one to his coach!

I love that I can almost read the type on the ball in the bunt image.

I'm also jealous that we have another month at least before ball season starts up here.

    Cheers,

    Randy.

As a former catcher I can appreciate the last shot, great work!

Those shots are amazing. Great job capturing baseball at it's finest Did you get any non-blurry shots of batter's swinging? Because when I shoot baseball, I can't get capture these scenarios without the batter's bat being blurry.

Getting non-blurry image sof batters swinging is not difficult at all when it's this light out. Shooting with a Canon 300 2.8L I am at an aperture of 2.8 - 4.0 and vary my ISO which can will get me a shutter speed of 1/2000 and up fairly easily which freezes the bat in mid-swing.

Oh yes back out under Mother Natures best light source. Nice way to kick of the baseball season for us fidgety. Great color and exposure control on all of these. White uniforms in bright sun isn't the easiest of exposures to master.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
